The India Women’s cricket team is set to host West Indies and Ireland in a series of white-ball matches as they wrap up 2024 and kickstart the new year. The West Indies squad will arrive first, competing in three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and three T20 Internationals (T20Is) in December. Ireland will follow in January, playing a three-match ODI series. Both ODI series are part of the ICC Women’s Championship, making these matches crucial for rankings and qualification points.

West Indies Tour: December Showdowns Across Mumbai and Baroda

West Indies will kick off their tour with three ODIs at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, followed by three T20Is at Baroda’s stadium. This series marks India’s first T20I matches since their early exit from the T20 World Cup last month, which ended for Harmanpreet Kaur’s team at the group stage. The action begins on December 15, just days after India wraps up an ODI series in Australia, highlighting a packed schedule for the team.

India and West Indies will clash in T20Is on December 15, 17, and 19. After that, the series will shift to the ODI format with matches scheduled on December 22, 24, and 27.

Ireland’s ODI Series in January

To open the 2025 season, India will face Ireland in three ODIs in Rajkot on January 10, 12, and 15. This series will give India more opportunities to solidify their standing in the ICC Women’s Championship and build momentum for the upcoming year.

The back-to-back series provide India with valuable playing time and a chance to regain form, refine their strategies, and set the tone for a competitive 2025 season. Fans can look forward to exciting cricket action as India takes on two determined opponents on home soil.
